Padres Likely To Keep Adrian Gonzalez

ESPN's Buster Olney believes that the Padres will hold onto Adrian Gonzalez for the 2010 season.

San Diego weighed offers for the first baseman prior to July's trade deadline, but opted to keep him. Now, the club feels good about their chances next season.

"I think we might be pretty good next year," general manager Kevin Towers said last week. "I know that sounds pretty crazy."
