Pirates Won't Trade McLouth For Cano

The Pirates will not deal center fielder Nate McLouth for Robinson Cano, and they will not move McLouth at all unless it was for "a dramatic overpay," according to a baseball executive with knowledge of the team's plans.

Yankees, Pirates Haven't Discussed McLouth

The Yankees and Pirates have both refuted reports that New York is interested in Pittsburgh outfielder Nate McLouth.

"We haven't talked about it; it's premature," a Yankees' source said.

"Haven't heard a word about that," a Pirates' source said.

Pirates' GM Neal Huntington has declared nobody is untouchable while Yankees GM Brian Cashman is adamant about making changes.
