Phillies Place Utley, Polanco On DL

The Phillies have placed second baseman Chase Utley and third baseman Placido Polanco on the disabled list.

Utley has a sprained thumb and Polanco has been bothered by an elbow injury.

Philadelphia called up infielder Brian Bocock and utility player Greg Dobbs from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Halladay Regrets Not Making Playoffs In Toronto

Roy Halladay spent 12 seasons in Toronto and he regrets not making the postseason with the team.

"My only regret is we never won a playoff game or World Series game," Halladay said Saturday. "I loved every minute of being up there and that was the only thing that would've finished it off for me, to be able to get to the next level."

Halladay was traded by the Blue Jays to the Phillies last winter.

Phillies Promote Domonic Brown To Triple-A

The Phillies promoted Domonic Brown to Triple-A on Friday.

"Sometimes there's a lull there," said Chuck LaMar, the Phillies' assistant general manager in charge of player development. "He went right back to work the first day."
