Phillies manager Charlie Manuel admitted on Tuesday that he wishes Cliff Lee was still a part of the team's rotation.
Manuel spoke about the trade that sent Lee to Seattle and Roy Halladay to Philadelphia during a news conference.
"Halladay is the best pitcher in baseball right now. Lee is a tad behind him. Of course it would've been nice to have both of them," Manuel said. "It'd be good to have Halladay, Lee, [Cole] Hamels. I'd be looking good. I might even be buying more expensive furniture than the Mrs. has been buying me lately."

The Phillies may have to decide between outfielders Shane Victorino and Jayson Werth in the near future.
It appears as though, however, that Victorino's recent agreement with Philadelphia could soon spell the end of Werth.
"Looking at them on paper," A National League scout said, "they will probably have to choose between (keeping Shane) Victorino and (Jayson) Werth."
After announcing the three-year, $22 million agreement with Victorino, general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. discussed the future.
"The next question we have is, "Where do we stand with Jayson?' " Amaro Jr. said. "We're going to have to weigh how we want to put the puzzle together. We may have some difficult decisions down the road."
Werth will be a free agent after the 2010 season.
