Baez, Phillies Agree To Two-Year Deal

The Phillies have added Danys Baez to their bullpen.

Sources told MLB.com on Thursday that Philadelphia and the reliever had agreed to a two-year contract pending a physical.

Baez, 32, went 4-6 with a 4.02 ERA in 59 appearances last season with the Orioles in 2009.

Chan Ho Park Sues Former Teammate Chad Kreuter

Chan Ho Park has sued his former Dodger batterymate Chad Kreuter, accusing him of failing to fully pay off a $460,000 loan, as reported by the Associated Press on Thursday.

Park filed the lawsuit on Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming breach of promissory note and negligent misrepresentation.

Phillies Talking To MacDougal

The Phillies are still looking to fortify their bullpen and are talking with free-agent reliever Mike MacDougal.

MacDougal closed games for the Nationals last season.

Last week, Philadelphia general manager Ruban Amaro told the team's site that the Phils were getting closer to signing a reliever, "but nothing is a done deal."
