Yankees Get Pitching Coach Back

Yankees pitching coach Dave Eiland has returned to the team after leaving to take care of "a personal family matter."

"It was really hard," Eiland said during a press conference. "These are my guys. This is my second family."

Eiland's leave has coincided with A.J. Burnett's struggles.

"It is up to the individual player to make adjustments," Eiland said. "A.J. is going to bounce back."

Yankees Fully Expect Jeter, Rivera To Stay

The Yankees fully expect Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera to remain in pinstripes despite their lack of contracts past this season.

"Obviously, we don't negotiate in public, but I would find it highly, highly unlikely if both of them are not back with the Yankees," president Randy Levine said Monday.
