The Yankees haven't made a decision on how long they are going to stick with Phil Hughes in the rotation, according to the New York Daily News.
Hughes was booed off the mound in the fourth inning on Tuesday against the Tigers.
He is the youngest pitcher in the majors at 21, and has an ERA of 9.00 with an 0-4 record.
The question's been asked (internally)," GM Brian Cashman said when asked if Hughes might lose his rotation spot. "If we decide to do something, we'll talk to the player first. But I think it's fair for us to discuss it."

Early reports claim that Jorge Posada will not miss the rest of the season for the Yankees, according to ESPN.com.
He was placed on the disabled list for the first time in his career on Monday, with a complete diagnosis on his injured shoulder not expected to come out for a few days.
If Posada has just a strained shoulder, he will not need season-ending surgery.
"Jorge has been frustrated because it hasn't responded the way he had hoped," Manager Joe Girardi said. "I think players always think the worst, and managers think the best."
