Timberwolves Exercise Options On Foye, Brewer

The Minnesota Timberwolves will retain the services of Randy Foye and Corey Brewer for at least one more season after the team exercised options on both players on Wednesday, the Associated Press is reporting.

Bulls' Hughes Dislocates Shoulder

Bulls' veteran guard Larry Hughes left Wednesday’s preseason game against the Timberwolves with a dislocated right shoulder, according to an Associated Press report.

Hughes left the game in the third quarter and did not return after getting his arm caught under Minnesota forward Mike Miller as the two dove for a loose ball.

Telfair Suspended For First Three Games Of Season

Sebastian Telfair of the Minnesota Timberwolves has been suspended without pay for three games for pleading guilty to criminal possession of a weapon, in violation of the laws of the State of New York, the NBA announced today.

Telfair will be suspended for the first three games of the 2008-09 NBA regular season for which he is eligible and physically able to play.
