Boston Also Gets Fields In Bedard Deal

The Red Sox also acquired Josh Fields in the three-team trade that landed them left-hander Erik Bedard.

In the first part of the deal, Boston got Trayvon Robinson from the Dodgers for Tim Federowicz, Juan Rodriguez and Stephen Fife.

The Red Sox then flipped Robinson and Chih-Hsien Chiang to Seattle for Bedard and Fields.

The Red Sox have reportedly acquired left-hander Erik Bedard from the Mariners in a three-team deal.

According to Jayson Stark of ESPN.com, the Dodgers were the third party.

Cardinals, Dodgers Seal Deal For Furcal

The Cardinals have finalized a trade with the Dodgers for shortstop Rafael Furcal.

Los Angeles will receive cash and a minor-league outfielder in the deal.

The deal became official when Furcal approved the move on Saturday.

Kuroda Will Remain With Dodgers

Dodgers right-hander Hiroki Kuroda instructed his agent on Saturday to inform general manager Ned Colletti that he won't accept a trade to any team.

There has been speculation for weeks that Kuroda, who has a no-trade clause, would be traded before Sunday's deadline.

"I told Ned through my agent (Steve Hilliard) that I will be wearing this uniform throughout the season," Kuroda said through his interpretor.

"I'm not going anywhere."

Kuroda Open To Rangers, Red Sox And Yankees

Dodgers right-hander Hiroki Kuroda has told the team that he is open to deals to the Rangers, Red Sox and Yankees.

Texas has been pushing hard for the veteran starter.
