Angels starting pitcher Scott Kazmir started working out just a week after the team was eliminated from the playoffs in the fall.
Kazmir, who struggled in 2009, has been doing about an hour of cardiovascular work. Also, looking to repeat his delivery more consistently, the pitcher has been working out with Lee Fiocchi. The trainer is trying to strength Kazmir's core.
He was 10-9 with a 4.89 ERA in 26 total starts between Tampa Bay and Los Angeles last season.
