A major league executive has labeled this summer's trade market as a weak one.
"There is just not very much movement at all," one executive said. "I count only six teams that are ready to sell."
The executive listed the Cubs, Astros, Rockies, Athletics, Mariners and Twins as sellers.

The Dodgers have pursued Carlos Lee, but the Houston slugger may veto a trade to Los Angeles, according to a source.
Lee admitted that Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow told him his name has come up in recent trade talks with the Dodgers.
Since he has a limited no-trade clause, Lee would have to approve the deal.
Lee has told the Astros, though, that he doesn't want to waive the no-trade clause.

Scouts for the Yankees, Giants and Blue Jays scouted Houston left-hander Wandy Rodriguez on Tuesday night against the Royals.
Rodriguez allowed two earned runs over seven runs in a lost to Kansas City.
The Astros will listen to offers for Rodriguez, according to sources.
Interested clubs are aware Rodriguez could have two years and $26 million left on his contract beyond this year, if he reaches the performance bonuses necessary to trigger the club option for 2014.

The Astros don't appear to have made anyone untouchable on the trade market.
They are willing to listen to offers for "virtually all of their players."
Younger players like Jed Lowrie and Chris Johnson are not immune, while it would take a huge offer to pry away second baseman Jose Altuve.
