Free Agent Fuentes Sees Fit In Angels

Free-agent closer Brian Fuentes feels as though he would fit in well with the Angels, who saw Francisco Rodriguez sign with the Mets this week.

Fuentes said he sees "a great fit" with Los Angeles in a Saturday report in the Merced Sun-Star.

Other possible suitors include St. Louis, Milwaukee, and Detroit.

"Anaheim would be a great fit, being a California kid," Fuentes told the newspaper. "That would be my first choice."
