McBride posted a 1-0 record with 3.60 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 18 games with the Braves this season. He has held lefthanded hitters to just a .160 batting average in 2007. "We are happy to add a pitcher the caliber of Macay McBride to the Tigers organization," Tigers GM David Dombrowski said. "McBride is a good, young pitcher with major league experience that gets lefthanded hitters out very well."
