Percival Close To Comeback

Troy Percival's comeback has taken shape, and his agent, Paul Cohen, said he has had discussions with "several" teams who want to take a long look at the former Angels closer. Percival is working out in Riverside in preparation for possible throwing sessions for scouts.

"He and I have been talking about different possibilities," Cohen said Monday. "We've had some discussions but haven't finalized anything."

Cohen would not say whether the Angels were on the list of potential suitors, and Angels general manager Bill Stoneman did not immediately return phone messages.
