Rockies Win In Tracy's Managing Debut

The Rockies defeated the Padres 3-0 on Friday night in their first game under interim manager Jim Tracy.

"I'm anxious to find out exactly how good this team is," Tracy said. "Tonight for me is a step in the right direction."

The victory snapped a three-game losing streak, and came less than a day after the club fired manager Clint Hurdle.

"The way I look at it is we're 1-0 right now," shortstop Troy Tulowitzki said. "Try to build off that and see where it can take us."
