Carmona, whose true identity has been established as Roberto Hernandez Heredia, was arrested last week in the Dominican Republic on charges he falsified his name and birthdate to play in the United States. With him on the restricted list, the Indians don't have to count him toward their 25- or 40-man rosters, and he won't be paid until he reports.
