The Indians won't say that he's available, but pitcher Fausto Carmona could be placed on the trade market.
"He's got one of the best three sinkers in the game," an NL executive told the Boston Globe.
Carmona is likely a middle-to-back-end of the rotation guy.

The Indians like what they are seeing in Rafael Perez as a starter in winter ball.
However, Cleveland isn't ready to make him a starter full-time just yet.
"We thought it would be beneficial for him to get some more work," general manager Mark Shapiro said. "We thought it was a good idea for him to extend himself, and [starting] would provide him with the best opportunity to lock in innings and mechanics."
Perez has gone 3-0 with a 0.33 ERA for the Gigantes del Cibao.

The Indians have acquired pitcher Mitch Talbot from the Rays to complete a trade involving catcher Kelly Shoppach earlier this month.
Cleveland sent cash with Shoppach to Tampa Bay in the Dec. 1 deal.

Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer expects the Indians to have a payroll of between $56 million and $65 million in 2010.
Cleveland has $48.1 million committed to Travis Hafner ($11.5 million), Jake Westbrook ($11), Kerry Wood ($10.5), Grady Sizemore ($5.6), Fausto Carmona ($4.9) and Jhonny Peralta ($4.6).
The Indians opened the 2009 season with a payroll of $81.5 million, which put them in the middle of the major leagues.
They are coming off a 97-loss season in which president Paul Dolan says the franchise lost $16 million.
