Reds' Hatteberg Would Welcome A Trade

Scott Hatteberg won't demand a trade from the Reds, but he wouldn't object to a deal away from the team either, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

He's not happy in his role as the team's pitch-hitter.

"It's difficult," Hatteberg said. "I've never been a very good pinch-hitter. I'm trying to figure it out. I'm trying."

"First and foremost, I'd like to be here and help the team win," he added. "I play baseball to play."
