With two months left before the non-waiver trade deadline, the White Sox are expected to be active in talks.
Chicago general manager Ken Williams is expected to become more active beginning on June 15, when teams can begin trading players that were signed as free agents this past winter.
"In the past, I'd say I'm happy with what I have," manager Ozzie Guillen said Saturday night. "This team has been so inconsistent. One week we play unbelievable, and the next week we don't. The way we're play right now, I will take my chances with this club."
Jermaine Dye is hoping that the White Sox improve on the field so that Williams doesn't have to make any improvements.
"Hopefully we keep playing well and he doesn't have to make any decisions to make us better, where everyone continues to pitch and swing the bat well," Dye said.

The Mets traded backup catcher Ramon Castro to the White Sox on Friday night.
New York's starting catcher, Brian Schneider, is ready to return from the disabled list and Omir Santos has impressed with a few game-winning hits.
"Right now, I really like what Santos has brought, and it would be difficult for me to see him not be a part (of us)," Mets manager Jerry Manuel said of Santos. "He's been good and he's been good for what I would say is kind of an extended period of time."

The White Sox promoted Gordon Beckham from Class AA Birmingham to Class AAA Charlotte, and will start for the Knights on Thursday.
In 38 games with the Barons, Beckham hit .299 with four home runs and 22 RBI, while scoring 23 runs.
Beckham was Chicago's first round pick in 2008.
''This kid is a good ballplayer,'' Ozzie Guillen said. ''A lot of people say the difference between Triple-A and the big leagues is a small step but I don't know about that one. It's the biggest step you are going to make.''
