Red Sox manager Terry Francona juggled the team's lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.
Heading into the game, Boston had lost three of their last four games.
Francona dropped Jacoby Ellsbury to eighth and put Dustin Pedroia at the leadoff spot.
"We're a little bit in between on our lineup," said Francona. "Sometimes when you don't score you can look at a lot of things. It's a little bit easy to get mixed up so I just like to sit back and think, 'OK, what can help us?' without forgetting, 'what can hurt us?' "
