Joe Girardi wasn't pleased that Jeremy Guthrie hit Derek Jeter on Saturday, the 10th time this year a Yankee has been hit by an Orioles pitcher.
"Too many. Just too many," Girardi said. "I just really don't understand it and I know he likes to pitch inside, but it's too many. And that doesn't include the ones in spring training."
Guthrie contended that his command deserted him as he tried to work inside.
