The Brewers are looking for pitching, and could move right fielder Corey Hart to fill the need.
Atlanta has targeted Hart in the past, but would probably need to get rid of Jeff Francoeur before landing Hart.
In addition, Milwaukee lacks a suitable replacement for Hart.

Braves starter Kenshin Kawakami left in the third inning against the Yankees after being hit by a line drive.
The injury wasn't serious, and X-rays weren't needed, but Atlanta said that the starter is day-to-day with a bruise on his neck.
Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain hit the liner.

Braves manager Bobby Cox and third baseman Chipper Jones were ejected in the team's 6-5 loss to the Red Sox on Sunday.
The pair were thrown out in the seventh inning by home plate umpire Bill Hohn after J.D. Drew singled to give Boston a 5-4 lead.
The Red Sox won in the bottom of the ninth inning on a home run by shortstop Nick Green.
