Glavine Still Hasn't Received Offer From Atlanta

Tom Glavine has yet to receive an offer from Atlanta, complicating a situation that has a very patient Omar Minaya in limbo with the winter meetings just days away.

"He can't even evaluate that they (Atlanta) really want him if he doesn't have an offer," Glavine's agent, Gregg Clifton, told the Associated Press yesterday. "The bottom line is we're waiting to see if Atlanta wants to make a proposal to us. We've had really nice dialogue on a few occasions and we've kind of left it: 'We're open. We're waiting for (GM) John Schuerholz to give us a call if he would like to.'"

Glavine Wants No-Trade Clause From Atlanta

Gregg Clifton, Tom Glavine's agent, said his client wants a no-trade clause in any deal, which is something Atlanta general manager John Schuerholz has never included in any contract for any player.

"I'm not home 81 days of the year," Glavine said back in October. "If I was in Atlanta, I'm home."

Andruw Jones, Wife Help Feed Homeless On Thanksgiving

Whether it is baseball season or the holiday season, good things seem to happen when Andruw Jones is at the plate at Turner Field.

Thursday was no exception, as the Braves slugger, accompanied by his wife, Nicole, stepped to the plate and helped make up several that became seven-course Thanksgiving dinners that were served to the homeless as part of the annual effort sponsored by the Atlanta Braves Foundation and Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless.
