Willis Wants To Pitch On West Coast

The Tigers designated pitcher Dontrelle Willis for assignment over the weekend and the left-hander is already thinking about where he'll pitch next.

Willis reportedly wants to pitch for a West Coast team and a friend told FOX Sports that he's high on the Diamondbacks.

Arizona's team ERA of 5.95 is the worst in the majors.

Willis was 1-2 with a 4.98 ERA in nine games this year.

Webb To Change Arm Slot

Diamondbacks right-hander Brandon Webb is changing his arm slot after a visit with a rehab specialist.

Webb remains on the disabled list as he continues his comeback from shoulder surgery.

"I have to retrain," he told the Arizona Republic. "Even though I'm almost 10 months out of surgery and I've been throwing for five months, I've been almost wasting my time throwing bad."

Webb said he was told his arm slot was at 110 degrees, which is higher than it was before he underwent surgery.
