Diamondbacks ace Brandon Webb expects to return to the mound before the All-Star break in July.
"You can't just start going into games right away," he said. "You've got to build your arm up."
Webb played catch from 115 feet Tuesday, and called it his best throwing session yet.
He has only pitched once this season, on Opening Day.

Former Diamondbacks pitching coach Bryan Price, who resigned upon Bob Melvin's firing, has ripped the hiring of A.J. Hinch.
"The hiring of A.J., I thought, was a poor decision," Price told the Marin Independent Journal, a Bay Area newspaper.
Hinch is a former catcher with no managerial experience.
"A.J. has worked hard to get his credibility in the business in that [player-development] side of the game, but he doesn't have any credibility between the lines as a manager," Price said of Hinch. "That, for me, just wasn't going to work."
