Luis Gonzalez is open to rejoining the Diamondbacks, but the possibility could arise only if Eric Byrnes' hamstring troubles lingered.
Byrnes could make his Cactus League debut as soon as this weekend.

The Diamondbacks have renewed the contracts of 21 players, including third baseman Mark Reynolds.
Reynolds' deal was renewed at $422,500 for the 2009 season.
"We just thought that the number was not right," Reynolds said. "It was just something we couldn't agree on. There were no hard feelings on either side."
