Tim Redding took a one-hitter into the eighth inning as the Washington Nationals shutout the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday night, according to Yahoo.com.
The victory allowed the Nationals to improve their record to 3-0 on the season, for the first time in five years.
"Nobody likes to lose. We?re tired of it," said Ryan Zimmerman, who hit a solo home run to help lead Washington to the win.
