Tigers' outfielder Curtis Granderson will have X-rays taken on his broken right hand this Saturday, according to MLB.com.

"I'm being cautious," Granderson said. "I'm not 100 percent, and I don't want to make it worse."

He plans to have yet another X-ray taken in two weeks to make sure the healing process continues as planned.

"When I injured my pinkie in '05, swinging and missing caused the most pain," Granderson added, "so that's how I'll know I'm ready to go."
