Cubs' starting pitcher Carlos Zambrano was okay after cramping up during the team's season opener on Monday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

"He's OK," Manager Lou Piniella said. "That's happened before."

"I just had a cramp, and we have to take care of myself and do the right thing and don't let this happen again," Zambrano said.

He struck out five batters and allowed no earned runs in 6 2/3 innings against the Brewers.
