Jeff Kent is running out of time to heal his strained right hamstring as the 2008 season draws closer, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"It may be debatable whether he has enough at-bats," Torre said of Kent. "I know opening day is in sight. We have to evaluate how much is enough and make that decision."

Kent is expected to bat in a simulated game for the Dodgers on Sunday.
