Jeff Conine will reportedly retire as a member of the Florida Marlins, according to MLB.com.

He is expected to sign a one-day contract with the team at the end of the month and then retire.

He was a member of the team's original roster, and the Marlins plan to honor him on March 31 in their season opener against the Mets.
