With injuries depleting their starting rotation, the Cardinals have reportedly inquired about free agent pitcher Kyle Lohse, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The Cardinals only have two certainties in their rotation as they head into the beginning of the season: Adam Wainwright and Braden Looper.
