Texas Rangers' pitcher John Rheinecker will miss the first half of the season, according to the Dallas Morning News.

He was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, a condition that limits the flow of blood to extremities. It just so happens to be the same condition that derailed Hank Blalock's season last year.

"Pretty much every symptom I described, the doctor said was on the list," Rheinecker told the Morning News. "Hopefully once I get back from this, I'll be the pitcher the Rangers traded for."
