Miguel Cabrera arrived in Florida as a member of the Detroit Tigers a slimmer man than at the end of last season.

"No belly," Cabrera said Monday in Lakeland, Fla. "I feel good now."

Cabrera hopes the loss of weight helps his defensive play.
