Detroit Tigers right-hander Jeremy Bonderman will miss the remainder of the season due to a sore elbow. Bonderman, 1-7 in his last eight starts, missed two September outings with a tender elbow before starting Monday at Kansas City. He gave up seven runs on 11 hits, including Matt Stairs' three-run homer, in 4 2-3 innings. ``Bonderman is not going to pitch the rest of the season,'' Tigers manager Alan Trammell said after a 4-3 loss Wednesday. ``We made that decision just before the game. He was going to go out and throw on the side. He just didn't feel up to it. We started asking questions. He's saying he just doesn't feel right, so we shut him down. ``He's saying that he's not feeling as well as would like to. He says he can pitch, but why. We're hoping it would be better and it is not.''
