The Associated Press reports that second baseman Brandon Phillips has agreed to a $27 million, four-year deal, settling the Reds? final arbitration case.

The 26-year-old had a breakout season last year, when he joined Alfonso Soriano as the only second basemen in major league history to hit 30 homers and steal 30 bases.

Phillips had a season FIC of 189 and 'deserved' an $8 million salary, making him one of the best bargains in the game with a Reina Value of +1,863%.
