Felipe Lopez and the Washington Nationals took part in the first-ever arbitration hearing of the offseason on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press.

Arbitrators were expected to make a decision on Thursday or Friday.

Twelve other players are scheduled to have hearings within the next few weeks.
