Kelvim Escobar's sore shoulder will limit him as the Angels head into spring training, according to the Associated Press.

Escobar, who won 18 games for Los Angeles last season, experienced discomfort in his shoulder while rehabilitating in Arizona on Wednesday.

"We are moving forward cautiously with Kelvim," Angels' General Manager Tony Reagins told the AP. "We are hopeful that the shoulder irritation dissipates during his rehab."
