The Rays signed veteran reliever Trever Miller on Wednesday to a one-year deal worth $1.6 million, according to MLB.com.

There is a club option for 2009 on the deal which would allow Miller to make $2 million.

Miller pitched for Tampa Bay in 2004 and 2005.
