The Twins apparently will pay up to keep Justin Morneau after all. The Twins will sign Morneau to a six-year deal worth $80 million on Friday, according to a report on the Minneapolis Star Tribune's web site. Although they have not confirmed the report, the Twins have scheduled a news conference for 4 p.m. Friday afternoon. RealGM Note: In 2007, Morneau 'deserved' a $9.5 million contract (season FIC of 202). As the AL MVP in 2006, he had a season FIC of 260.
