The Associated Press is reporting that outfielder Endy Chavez and the Mets agreed Tuesday to a $3.85M, two-year deal.

Chavez, who made $1,725,000 in 2007, gets $1.8 million this season and $2.05 million in 2009. He can make an additional $250,000 in performance bonuses this coming season and $375,000 in 2009.
