After missing the last two season with a knee injury, outfielder Jody Gerut and the Padres on Monday agreed on a minor-league deal, as reported by the Associated Press.

If he's added to the 40-man roster, Gerut would receive a $700,000, one-year contract, and could make an additional $210,000 in performance bonuses.
