The Jays have expressed interest in Erik Bedard, but a one-for-one swap including A.J. Burnett as the other piece wouldn't get the deal done. Baltimore is in a rebuilding phase and wants to load up on prospects before seriously delving into free agency. That being the case, it wouldn't make sense for the Orioles to agree to a Bedard-for-Burnett trade.
