Texas Rangers All-Star shortstop Michael Young was forced to leave yesterdays game in the third inning of the Rangers game in Minnesota due to spasms caused by the Metrodome?s artificial surface.
"It was tough for me to run," Young said. "I didn't feel anything swinging and I didn't feel anything bending over ground balls. It just kicked in when I started running."
The injury is not expected to keep Young out of the lineup.
