The NL champion Rockies seem intent to keep their starters around for several years to come.

The Rockies on Tuesday signed righthander Aaron Cook to a four-year contract with a mutual option for 2012.

Financial terms were not disclosed. But according to a report on the team's web site, the deal is worth $34.5 million.
