Former Marlins pitcher Carl Pavano apparently hasn't been thrilled with the atmosphere in the Yankees clubhouse in his first season since he rejected a three-year, $21 million offer from Florida in favor of a four-year, $40 million contract with New York.
"He found it to be a bit of a cold place," said Quantrill, who pitched with Pavano earlier this year. "They're just a bunch of professionals. You show up, you go home. No friends.''
