Red Sox's Gagne Declines Arbitration

Yahoo.com - Righthander Eric Gagne declined an offer of salary arbitration from the Red Sox, the team announced on Friday.

Acquired at the trade deadline last season, Gagne struggled for the World Series champions, going 2-2 with three blown saves and a 6.75 ERA in 18 2/3 innings last campaign.

The righthander also went 0-1, giving up three runs in 4 1/3 innings during the postseason. [READ]
