The Padres have agreed to a one-year contract with free agent lefthander Randy Wolf, according to a Saturday report on ESPN.com.

Because Wolf is coming off minor shoulder surgery, the deal is heavily incentive-based, ESPN is also reporting.

In a weak market for free agent pitching, Wolf was one of the most hotly pursued free agents on the market this offseason despite the injury.
