Red Sox Offer Arbitration To Gagne

Yahoo.com - The Red Sox are not ready to give up on Eric Gagne yet.

The World Series champion Red Sox on Saturday offered salary arbitration to Gagne despite a hugely disappointing return from the midseason trade that saw the righthander move to Boston from Texas.

Gagne, who had a 2.16 ERA through 33 1/3 innings for the Rangers, never found his groove with the Red Sox and had a 6.75 ERA in 18 2/3 innings in a Boston uniform. [READ]
