Aaron Rowand, who batted .309 and posted 89 RBI on his way to his first All-Star Game appearance and Gold Glove award, reportedly is seeking a deal worth $14 million a year. The Washington Nationals, Chicago White Sox, San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers are said to be interested. The Phillies, who have made pitching their priority this offseason, haven't given up on Rowand just yet. "We have to monitor how things play out with Aaron," assistant GM Ruben Amaro Jr. said. "As it stood with our comfort with moving forward with trying to get something done with him prior to the free-agent period opening up, I don't think that we could have played in the same arena."
